Stars for a New Day
A new Block of the month

I have a couple of new Block of the months that I am
working on now that my applique blocks are finished.
The first one is called Stars for a New Day the
pattern is by Sue Garman and is available
by being a member of The Quilt Show.
The first block was a feathered star, this one was very hard to do, but I got it all done.
The next part is doing nine patches, sawtooth stars and adding floating boarders. The hardest part of this one is those floater boarders. I just don’t seem to grasp what the directions are telling me, but I am sure once I get started on them I will do just fine.
The next BOM that I am doing is actually given out every other month instead of monthly. This pattern is availble with a membership of All People Quilt. Here is the first block:
